Journey to Coldsville

It hasn’t really even been cold here. How nice.

The orientation people today were like don’t expect it to stay like this. LOL.

So yesterday me and my dad went to my apartment, and when we got in my roomie had two boys over. If my mom was with me she would have been like OMG SHE HAS BOYS OVER STAY AWAY FROM HER. But thank god my dad is normal LOL. He saw all the beer bottles and stuff and when my mom asked him how my roomie is he was like “She’s…normal” hahahaha. Phew. My mom would have freaked if she saw that many empty beer bottles in one room.

Then as my dad was leaving, he told my roomie good job on keeping the place clean. Then when he was gone, my roomie told me how there was a party last night and there was beer bottles all over the floor and thank god we didn’t get there like 30 minutes earlier. HAHAHAH I died. 

And then her friend Chao-Chao (?) and some other white guy were over and she asked me if I had a boyfriend and I said no and she was like be careful, there are some prowlers around her. And pointed to the white guy haha. He was kinda cute but not really because he had a beard. And then she showed me a video of her boyfriend wiping out while snowboarding, apparently he’s really hurt or something. It looked and sounded painful, he was like…whimpering…it was so sad, but I’m not gonna lie, it was really funny. I have never heard a man make such noises before. LOL. And then later her friends left, and she was gonna skype her friend and I said you want me to go? Cause the internet cables only in the living room and I was watching tv there. And she said oh no I just might be annoying, and I said thats cool. And then she was telling her friend how she broke into a vacant house three years ago to smoke something (i hope not drugs LOL) and lost her id there, and the rcmp called her mom looking for her. and she was freaked out. and then she talked about how she had the most amazing sex, and then i left. LOL

She is interesting, but she keeps coming out with only the towel on and the towel doesn’t really go down far enough on her because she’s tall so it’s kind of awkward. I don’t think she realizes. She’s nice though, she lets me use her laptop, and she helped me with the busses and stuff. But I hope she keeps going out. She said today she’s not usually like this, always going out and stuff…she said as she left. Hahaha. But she said she’d be home tonight. I wonder if she will bring her boyfriend? I want to see what happened to him. 

Anyways, my bed is so comfy but I still have insomnia or something ugh. I keep waking up at fucking 4 am okay can I please sleep on my amazing bed. Lil lovebun was so cute last night, idk he kept nuzzling into my neck. He’s my stuffie LOOL, he’s so cute that I had to bring him. Even my mom told me to bring a stuffie, she’s like you’ll be lonely so don’t forget to take one!

When she called last night, she said she kept thinking of me. How sad, it hadn’t even been a whole day yet :( Poor her. I miss her presence too. Kinda. I will soon I think. 

Today morning I was naked in my room and then I realized my blinds were open. I hope nobody saw. Orientation was decent for the most part, I got a Suncor hoodie, and a mug. I also got my badge, which makes me legit. And I met this girl, Jagdeep, and we were trying to explore the business center and then we got to a door where we needed swipe access, so naturally I just turned around, but she’s so funny she tried to swipe hers and tried to open it. It didn’t work. But I laughed LOL. She’s brown, 27, and going to be working in document control. She’s a interior designer and has her own company. How cool is that? She asked me for my last name so that she can email me once we get our emails. Isn’t that sweet? Maybe she will invite me for food. LOL. I also got a hard hat, a vest with reflective stripes, and I have to wear my steel toe boots tomorrow too. And I got safety glasses. Man, this is so cool, I’m not gonna lie. 

My supervisor is really nice, I love him! He even drove me home today. But on the phone he sounded cute, but he wasn’t cute at all. Sadness. I did a few orientations today, and for every one I get a new badge thing to add onto my lanyard. It’s exciting.

I’m going to the mine area tomorrow, and I have another orientation which will take all day, said my supervisor. And he said to call him when I get there so he can drop me to the orientation place so I don’t have to walk because if I walk my first day I’ll probably get run over. How sweet, right?

And my “booty call” is coming over in an hour. I wonder what he’s like? Arjun said he was shy, but obviously he isn’t if he invited himself to my place. I said I’d go there but he insisted on coming here. I wanted to see if he had a cute room mate because then I’ll go there more often. LOL.

He asked if I got groceries and everything already, I think if I had said no he would have offered to take me. How cute. :) Apparently I’m supposed to know him, but I have never talked to him in my life. I don’t think. I creeped his facebook and I feel like I’ve seen him but that’s all. But he saw my name and KNEW it was me. So that is slightly creepy huh?

OH and I’m going to be working with haul trucks! How cool is that ? Pretty cool. I know.

Aww, my mom just called and was like “Call me when you get to south campus so I can pick you up.” She just said it on purpose but ya, she’s like I got home and I thought I’d have to pick you up and then I remembered you were gone. :( How sad! And then she told me how last night she couldn’t sleep cause she didn’t see me come upstairs and go to bed. She always waits for me to go up and turn my light off before she sleeps. 

I will call her twice a day. :)

This Johnny boy just came over to take his plate back from Rebecca. He was cuuuutee, and he is working with trucks too!!! Maybe I’ll see him around.

And apparently Chao-Chao (?) is actually David. I asked my supervisor if there was any other co-op students in the same position as me, and he said David from Memorial, and so I told my roomie cause she’s from Memorial. And she was like Yeah that’s Chao-Chao! xD

Yay. Maybe I will become friends with all of them.

I wish my booty call came sooner. I am booooreeed. There is nothing on tv! I think I’ll go watch Modern Family.
